Has anyone looked into the possibility that Jason might have been trying to lay low due to being on probation? It's strange that his truck was found abandoned in Pike County. I mean, why take off on foot from there if his destination was supposed to be Franklinton? Maybe he got spooked or thought someone was after him. Also, the fact that his disappearance wasn't reported until November could be significant. Could he have been in hiding or trying to figure things out during that time, and something went wrong? I'm curious if anyone has checked out the area between Pike County and Franklinton more thoroughly. The fact that he never made it to his probation appointment makes me wonder if an event happened that night, the day before he was supposed to report. This angle might be worth looking into for any new sightings or info.
