Been thinking about Roland Earl Plymale's truck being found abandoned on that rural Scott County road. It’s strange that the vehicle sat there for about three months before being discovered. The location doesn’t seem random to me. Could it be that this spot was chosen deliberately for some reason? Maybe someone wanted it to be found to throw off the real trail, or could it have simply been where things took a wrong turn for Roland? Typically, you'd expect some sign of a struggle or belongings if he left abruptly, but from what I gather, nothing of that sort was noted, which only deepens the mystery. If anyone has insights into the area's geography or knows if it's been a site for similar occurrences, it might help piece together what actually happened. Keeping all eyes and ears open.
