I'm really curious about whether any of you think the terrain at Panther Swamp Wildlife Refuge might have played a role in Charlie Neely's disappearance. Given that it's such a massive area, with its thick vegetation and marshlands, could it be possible that Neely got disoriented, even with his experience? I know he was an expert hunter and safety-conscious, but navigating through such dense wilderness could challenge anyone, especially if something unexpected happened, like an injury. I've read that the search teams were pretty thorough, but it's hard not to wonder if there might have been overlooked sections too difficult to access. Anyone with experience in that kind of environment care to weigh in on how likely it is for someone to get seriously lost or hurt out there?
