Hey everyone, I've been diving into the haunting case of Stacey Hazelton, and something that's been bugging me is how the terrain might have played a huge role in the difficulty of this investigation. I know some searches involved controlled burns to try and clear out those thick wooded areas around Duncan, but I'm wondering if there are any other methods that could have been used, or even explored, that might have helped more efficiently? It's so hard to imagine how a vibrant young woman could just vanish in such a manner, and those dense woods seem like a massive obstacle. If anyone has insights on search techniques used in similar difficult terrains, I’d love to hear more about it. It’s just heartbreaking thinking of her family still waiting for closure after all this time. Sending thoughts to her family and hoping they get the answers they need someday.
