Hey, everyone. I've been following the case of William Hummelsund and wanted to share something that's been on my mind. I find it pretty unusual that there's such limited media attention on his disappearance, especially since he had a routine that involved community ties, like studying at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and working at Five Guys. You’d think these connections would make his case more high-profile locally. Given he went missing from such a busy area – around Main Street in Minneapolis – it's puzzling that not many more people seem to be coming forward with information. Minneapolis is no small town, and it always feels like there should be more talk about someone who just vanished from a public space like he did. Anyone else frustrated by this lack of coverage? Could it be that we need to create more noise to keep his story alive and out there?
I came across something interesting while looking into Will Hummelsund's case. It seems like his disappearance didn’t receive much attention from the media, which is surprising given the circumstances. Has anyone else noticed how cases involving men, especially from minority backgrounds, tend to get less media coverage compared to others? It's such an unfortunate trend. Will was last seen on Main Street in Minneapolis, which is usually a busy area even at night. You'd think there would be more eyewitnesses or security camera footage available. Does anyone on here have experience with finding local press contacts or tips on how to engage the media more effectively? Maybe more exposure could help jog someone’s memory and lead to new information.
