Hey everyone,
I've been following Ollie Lee Roberts' case and something that's been nagging at me is that mysterious unidentified man she was last seen with. It's baffling how little information is out there on him. I mean, in a world where everyone has some sort of trail, how does a grown man just vanish without a trace alongside Ollie? I'm curious if there were any witnesses who might've seen them together or have anything to share about his appearance or demeanor. It just seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that's missing, especially since Ollie was known to be a devoted mother and leaving like that doesn’t fit her at all. If anyone has insight, or maybe theories on who this man might be, I’d love to hear them!
Does anyone remember Detroit in the late '80s and early '90s? It seemed like such a different world back then, and I can't help but wonder how that might have played a role in cases like Ollie Lee Roberts's. The city was going through so many changes, and I've read that crime rates were really high around that time. Could that have made it easier for someone to just vanish without a trace? Or maybe that's why there wasn't as much attention on her case when it first happened? It's baffling to me how a mother of six could just disappear, and there wasn’t more noise about it. Would love to hear any thoughts or insights on what it was like in Detroit around 1990.
