Hey everyone, I’ve been following Fannette Marie Pinkston’s case and something that keeps nagging at me is the use of her various first names. She was known to go by Annette, Fannie, or Faye, which got me thinking about how easy it might have been for her to move under the radar back in the day. In the early ‘80s, people weren’t as digitally connected as we are now, and someone using different names could maybe blend in more easily. It’s like she might’ve been able to create new beginnings wherever she went, making it more challenging for anyone trying to track her movements. It raises the possibility that she could have been living under one of these aliases after leaving Detroit. There's no concrete evidence, but given how she was a frequent hitchhiker, perhaps she had her reasons for changing her identity in some situations. Anybody have thoughts on this? Maybe someone with a similar name popped up in Ohio or other states she could’ve traveled through?
