Has anyone else found it odd how quickly the focus shifted from the alleged abduction to investigating the father? I get that there were inconsistencies in Kenneth's story, but it seems like the authorities had their suspicions early on. How often do police make such a fast pivot in cases like this? It makes me wonder if they had other information we don’t know about. Also, does anyone know how common it is for confessions to get accidentally erased? That seems like such a huge error considering it was the main evidence against him. Just thinking about all the twists and turns in this case gives me chills.

Hey everyone, I wanted to dive into something that's been bugging me about A'shia Monique Jenkins' case. I know there's been a lot of discussion around the confession and its erasure, but what about the initial claim involving the unlicensed cab driver? It makes me wonder if there were ever any legitimate cabs operating without licenses in Baltimore back in 2003. Could this be a common occurrence that Kenneth thought he could exploit in his story, or was this a detail he concocted out of thin air? If there were incidents with unlicensed cabs around that time, they could have influenced his narrative in some way. I haven't found much on this aspect, and I'm curious if anyone has insights or resources they can share. Thanks in advance!
