Hey everyone, I've been following the Rivamonte case for a while and something that really stands out to me is the absolute nightmare the jury must have gone through during the trial. Imagine sitting through all that evidence, hearing about the horrific way David was killed, and then having to make such a significant decision about someone's life. It's a heavy burden to bear, and I can't help but feel a sense of gratitude for people who take their civic duty seriously. It's also pretty astonishing how quickly Berry's family has jumped to appeal his conviction. Of course, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but given the weight of the evidence presented at trial, I'm curious about what new information they might have to back this appeal. I think about David's family, too, how they'll have to relive the trauma every time there's a legal update. It's all just so hard to process. Sending love and strength to anyone touched by this case.
