Does anyone here have insights on how international custody cases typically play out under the Hague Convention, especially when it seems like one country isn't honoring the initial ruling? I was reading about the case of the Frisancho boys and how the Slovak courts reversed their decision. It seems odd that these proceedings were closed-door, and the father wasn't even allowed to participate. Even more puzzling is the move to Hungary after the reversal. I've heard these cross-border cases can be incredibly complex and drawn-out, but is it common for a decision to be reversed in such a secretive manner? Any legal eagles here who can shed some light on this sort of situation?
