My heart goes out to his mom, Lexus Sky, who clearly cherished every moment with her beloved "Prince David." What really hits hard about this case is the sheer preventability of it all. One small change, like a locked gun cabinet, could have meant a completely different future for this little boy. It makes me think about the kind of awareness and education we need around gun storage, especially when kids are around. This isn’t just about laws; it’s about community responsibility and making sure we watch out for each other. I wonder what steps, if any, are being taken locally in Montgomery and elsewhere to promote better gun safety awareness?
