Has anyone been following the Edward Tyurri Matthews case? I’ve been thinking a lot about the community response to this tragedy. It's truly devastating for his family and friends to go through such a loss, and my heart goes out to all of them. I read somewhere that the neighborhood is trying to come together to support each other and push for change, which is powerful. Gun violence has been a huge issue in Birmingham, and it's so important that we address it so no more families have to endure this pain. Does anyone know if there have been any updates from the local initiatives or meetings in response to this? It would be good to hear that the community is making strides, even if justice for Edward feels so delayed.
