Has anyone else looked into whether there were any events in the Shreveport area on December 27, 2003, that might have brought more people into town? Sometimes missing persons cases can be indirectly tied to visitors who are unfamiliar with the area. I feel like a flashy car like Earnest's Cadillac DeVille would stand out to someone not from around there. Also, even though Franklin was described as reclusive, do we know if there were any community groups or social clubs he participated in outside of work? Maybe he met this friend through a shared interest or hobby and didn't mention it to his family. Given how few leads there are, we might need to think outside the box on this one... Thoughts?
