I was just reading about Andrew Compton's case, and I'm so frustrated by how the search for his remains was handled. I mean, the system basically gave up on finding him! It seems like there could have been more collaboration with waste management companies or maybe even using drones or special equipment to search the landfill more effectively. I get that it's a huge undertaking, but it's like they left no room for any kind of technological or creative solution. The least the family deserves is some kind of closure, yet it feels like the authorities moved on too soon from actively looking. It's a reminder of how important it is to keep pushing for advancements in search methods for missing persons, especially in cases like these where every lead is so crucial. Anyone else feel like more should have been done here?
