While reviewing Jack Allen Schultz's case, I found myself wondering about the significance of the car horn incident. It's puzzling to think about who might have been honking that horn at 5:00 a.m. and what their intentions were. Could it have been someone Jack knew? Maybe someone he wasn't expecting at that hour? The fact that he left but didn't take his wallet or favorite belt seems strange to me. It suggests he intended to come back, at least initially. I've read that he was leading a "rough lifestyle" at the time, but the careful set-aside of those specific personal items has me thinking there might be more layers to this aspect of his disappearance. Anyone have any thoughts or theories around the horn, or maybe gather more context from those early morning interactions?

Has anyone else noticed the weird timing with that car horn Jack's relative mentioned hearing on the morning he disappeared? It just seems odd to me that a horn was blaring early in the morning at 5:00 a.m., right before he left and vanished. Was someone waiting for him, or was it some kind of signal? I know it's been years, but does anyone local remember if there were any other reports of strange noises or honking around that time or in that neighborhood? It might be a stretch, but with everything pointing to foul play, maybe there was more activity going on outside his house than what was known or reported. Would love to hear any thoughts or similar instances anyone might have come across in other cases.
