Hey everyone, I've been digging into the disappearance of Faris "Bud" Gore and something's got me puzzled. Why would he choose to drive east on Highway 59 the morning he vanished? It's an interesting detail because it doesn't seem like there were any specific reasons known for him heading that way. Was he trying to visit someone, or was there something significant in that direction? Also, could it be possible that Bud had some favorite places along that route or maybe even some emotional attachment to a location there? I'd love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has local knowledge about that area during the late '80s. It might provide some clues about his mindset or where he might have intended to go. Any ideas or insights?
