Hey all, I've been diving into the Terry Cornell George case, and something's really been sticking with me. Why did it take nearly nine years for his disappearance to be officially reported? I get that sometimes family dynamics can be complicated, but that's a long time to not have any official record or search efforts starting. Wouldn't you think someone would have raised the alarm sooner? I wonder if there are any family or personal reasons that led to such a delay. I haven't found much info on how close Terry was with his family or if there were any issues there. It feels like there might be more beneath the surface regarding that delay. Anyone have any ideas or similar cases they've looked into where families delayed reporting a missing person for so long?
