Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Lois and Karen Williams case from 1967, and I can't stop thinking about the timeline of when they were reported missing. It strikes me as odd that Lois's parents didn't report them missing until February 9th, two whole weeks after they were last heard from. I’m curious if anyone knows more about the communication between Lois and her parents. Was it normal for them to go a couple of weeks without speaking? Also, it makes me wonder how frequent and concerning the letters Lois sent were, especially with the allegations against Carr. Could there have been a reason why her family took so long to alert authorities? I get that it was a different time and era without today's technology, but I’d love to hear what others think about this angle. It just seems like such a crucial aspect of understanding the case's difficulties from the get-go.

Has anyone else looked into Calvin Campbell's role in this case? I know Ted Carr is obviously the prime suspect, but Campbell's account seemed a little odd to me. He mentioned he saw Lois and Carr together, and then noticed Carr's suspicious behavior afterwards, but how closely was Campbell looked at? Wasn't it strange that he noticed all these details like the mud, sand, and the thoroughly cleaned car? And why was he at the station so early that morning? Not saying he's guilty, but it seems like he was in the right place at the right time to notice all this. Just wondering if more digging into his story could bring a new perspective on what really happened that night. Thoughts?
