Has anyone else been puzzling over why the Michigan State Police are involved in Deana Marie Schwark's case? It's always struck me as a bit odd considering she went missing from Illinois. I've been trying to dig into similar cases, and it seems jurisdiction normally rests with local authorities unless there's a solid reason for an out-of-state agency to step in. Could there have been a prior connection to Michigan, maybe a place she often visited or family ties that weren't made public? If anyone has insight or theories, I’d really appreciate it. This missing person investigation could really use more transparency or any small detail to connect the dots.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Deana Marie Schwark case closely, and something that's been bugging me is the involvement of the Michigan State Police. She's originally from Round Lake Beach, Illinois, so why are Michigan authorities leading the investigation? Does anyone else find that unusual? I wonder if there’s a possible Michigan connection that hasn’t been reported yet. Maybe she had family there or was planning to go to Michigan after the disagreement with her friends? Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has any similar cases where jurisdiction didn’t quite line up with where the person disappeared. Thanks!
