Hey everyone,
I came across some interesting historical records while digging into Leonard Guerrieri's case. It appears Leonard was quite the community figure back in the day. Apparently, he attended Wells Community High School, which was quite popular in the North Side during the 1950s and '60s. I wonder if any of his classmates or old friends from those days are still around and might remember something that could shed light on his disappearance?
The archives show that Leonard grew up in an Italian-American family, a really tight-knit community back then. Makes me think there might be someone out there with stories or insights into his life. If you're from Chicago or know anyone who went to Wells during that era, maybe reaching out could help connect some dots!
Just my two cents, but given the lack of clues, any small piece of history could turn out to be crucial here. Thoughts, anyone?
So I've been following Leonard Guerrieri's case and something that's been on my mind is whether there were any significant events happening in the 2700 block of North Clark Street around the time he disappeared, like maybe a parade, protest, or construction work that might have caused road closures or detours. Sometimes those things can throw off someone's usual routine. Given that Leonard was 79, it's possible he might have gotten distracted or confused if his usual path was altered. Does anyone know if there were any events or disruptions in that area on or around March 1, 2020?
