I've been following Joseph Smithey's case since it first came to light, and something that's been puzzling me is the delay in officially reporting him missing. Why did it take an entire month for someone to file the report? It's not uncommon for adults to be unaccounted for briefly, especially if they're dealing with personal issues, but a month seems excessive, especially since he's someone in need of medical attention. Has anyone heard if there was some reason behind this delay? Sometimes family members or friends might assume someone just needs space, but it feels crucial to understand what happened during that time. With the police suspecting foul play, I can't help but wonder if that early period holds some important clues. If anyone has insight or theories, I'm all ears.
