I’ve been following the Sisk family case since it unfolded, and I keep thinking about the weapon used in the crime. The 9mm handgun was found in their home illegally. It raises so many questions, like how did it end up there in the first place? Did anyone know it was in the house? It's unsettling to think that a teenager had access to such a dangerous weapon. My heart goes out to the community and the grieving relatives who have to live with these haunting questions. The ripple effects of this tragedy seem endless, and I can't imagine the pain of knowing something as preventable as weapon access could have changed the outcome. Anyone know if there's been a push in Elkmont for stricter gun regulations since this happened?
