Has anyone looked into the background of surfboards used by Kimo and George on their attempted paddle back to Maui? I've been wondering if the make and model could offer any clues. Maybe they weren't built for rough seas? It seems that any additional info might shine some light on their disappearance, even after all these years. Apparently, someone mentioned in a documentary that those boards weren't the best for long distances, especially in challenging waters. It's a small detail, but in cases like these, every piece of the puzzle matters. Thoughts?
