Does anyone recall any news reports or updates from back in '96 regarding George Hammond's disappearance? I’ve been digging into old newspapers and couldn't find much, if anything, about his case at the time. It's strange because a disappearance on an island like Kauai should have had some sort of buzz, right? If anyone knows where to find archives or has any leads on media coverage from that period, please share. It's baffling how little information is available for such a small community! Maybe connecting with locals who were around then might help too. Thoughts?
