Hey everyone, I’ve been reading about Joshua Scott Curry’s case and got curious about his scheduled testimony in Sequoya Vargas's murder trial. Has anyone found any information on what his statements to investigators might have included? It seems so suspicious that those statements are sealed, especially since he vanished right before he could testify. Was there any indication of what he might have said that could have influenced the trial or even put him in danger? Also, does anyone know if there was any reported tension or threats from the people involved in her murder prior to his disappearance? It just feels like the timing is too tight for it to be a coincidence, right? Would love to hear what others have found or think about this angle!

Does anyone else find it strange how rapidly things escalated for Joshua right before he disappeared? I mean, being a key witness in a high-profile murder case like Sequoya Vargas's must have been a ton of pressure, especially considering his other struggles. And then there's the fact that he admitted to using heroin and seemed to be battling some serious demons. I can’t help but wonder if anyone was truly looking out for him or if he was in this all alone. His mom giving him change for a call seems like such a desperate attempt to keep some connection in his life. Could more have been done to protect him given the threats? It’s baffling how little we know about his interactions in those final days and what led him to vanish. Does anyone think there are pieces of the puzzle yet to be uncovered from the criminal side of things, or was it a personal escape considering everything he was juggling?
