I came across this case while doing some research and something that caught my attention was how low-key James Preston Martin Jr.'s lifestyle seemed. It's been tough to find much about him online or in old news articles, and I wonder if that's part of why this case hasn't gotten much traction over the years. Sometimes, cases like these don't become big news because there’s limited information available or fewer connections to draw attention. On top of that, social media wasn’t really a thing back in 2001. I think it’s crucial for us to keep these cases in public discussion — even now — in hopes that someone who has a piece of the puzzle sees it and comes forward. Was there any community campaign or major media coverage at the time, or did it mostly fly under the radar? Would love to hear more from those who might have been around Acworth or Kennesaw back then.
