Does anybody remember hearing about any activity in the area around U.S. 1 near the Roosevelt Bridge back in August of '93? I know it's a long shot, considering so many years have passed, but I'm curious if there were any other reports or incidents that might have been overlooked at the time. The idea of someone seeing an elderly woman in just a nightgown at 1:00 a.m. seems really out of place, and it keeps bugging me. It's such a distinct image—an odd time and an unexpected location for someone to be walking around like that. Maybe someone with local knowledge or a keen memory from that era might recall something that didn't stand out back then. Just trying to join the dots in this puzzling case, hoping every little bit could help.

I’ve been digging into Mable Tresner’s case, and one detail that really puzzles me is the sighting of the elderly woman near the Roosevelt Bridge around 1:00 a.m. on the night she disappeared. I mean, what are the chances it was Mable? If it was her, how'd she end up walking there, and why? I find it strange that even though her home looked as if she'd left willingly (i.e., everything neat and orderly), she still left behind all her essentials, like her dentures and glasses. I think there's a good chance this sighting was crucial, yet we still don’t have much to connect it directly to her. Anyone else have thoughts on this or know more about the area where she was spotted? It just seems so odd to me.
