Has anyone dug into the community's reaction to the disappearance of Dock Sr. and Jr.? I've been reading about this case, and it's clear that they were well-known in Tallahassee, especially with Dock Sr.'s reputation as a businessman in the area. I find it strange that there wasn't more of an uproar or extensive media coverage back when they vanished, considering both a father and son just vanished out of the blue. Were there any coordinated efforts by local community groups or churches to search for them, or did it just slip under the radar for some reason? It's like they just disappeared without causing the stir you'd expect. Also, has anyone talked about any particular response from the religious community they're said to have been a part of? Seems like there's an angle here that's not been fully covered.
