I came across Melisa Sloan's case and I noticed something odd that hasn't been discussed much. When her rental car was found in Pensacola, it had been stripped and burned. That's around 400 miles from Orlando, in the opposite direction of Houston! Did anyone else find this strange? It makes me wonder if someone was trying to create a diversion. Why drive such a long distance only to destroy the car so thoroughly? It seems like a lot of effort to cover something up. Plus, the rental car aspect has always made me curious. Did Melisa intend to drive all the way to Houston, or did she have plans to stop somewhere else first? With John not cooperating and her testifying against him soon, this whole situation just doesn't sit right with me. What do you all think?
