Hey everyone, I came across an interesting detail in Garrett McCoy's case and wanted to share it to see if anyone else has thoughts. I read that he was an avid hiker and familiar with the Ocala National Forest, which is where he might have been heading. Does anyone know if there are specific trails or areas within the forest that could attract someone familiar with the area? I’m just wondering because I've read other cases where people have gone missing in national parks and forests, sometimes due to unexplored sections or less traveled paths. Could Garrett have possibly gone off-trail somewhere? Would be great if locals or other hikers could weigh in with any knowledge on potentially little-known spots he might have gone to.
