Has anyone else been following the scholarship fund set up in Jamir Hannah's honor? I read about it when the family and friends organized that march back in January 2021. It seems like such a wonderful way to remember Jamir and support young athletes at Alabama State University, especially considering he was a recent graduate. It's heartwarming to see the community come together in a positive way despite such a terrible loss. I can't imagine how tough this has been for his family, especially with the ongoing delays in the legal process. It must be so frustrating. Let's keep this conversation going and continue to support initiatives like this scholarship that create lasting change and honor those we've lost. Does anyone know if it's still active or how we can contribute?
Has anyone else been following the delays in the trial for Tadarian Dale? I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for Jamir Hannah's family and friends to be left waiting so long. Legal proceedings are already a tough process without such setbacks. It's heartbreaking to see how the system can sometimes prolong the suffering of loved ones seeking justice. I think it's so strong of the community to rally around with events like the march and the scholarship fund. It's incredible to turn such a tragic event into something positive and impactful for future athletes. Hopefully, the trial will proceed soon, and Jamir's family can find some sense of closure. ?
Has anyone else been following the delays in Tadarian Dale's trial? My heart goes out to Jamir Hannah's family; they must feel like they're stuck in an endless nightmare. Jamir's story is just another painful example of how slow the legal process can be. I can only imagine how tough it must be to see this case dragged out, especially after already organizing that march and creating a scholarship fund in Jamir's honor. It's heartbreaking to see justice put on hold for so long. Does anyone know if the change in judges might finally get things moving? Sending strength to Jamir's loved ones during this difficult time.
