I was thinking about Adam Dowdell Jr.'s case today and something keeps bothering me. I can't get over the fact that he was found so close to campus. It makes me wonder how many people might have seen something without realizing its significance. It's hard to believe that such a bright young man with so much potential was taken from his family and community in such a senseless way. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through. They put their trust in ASU as a place where Adam could pursue his dreams, only to have them shattered. It must have been incredibly difficult for them during those days of searching, hoping he would return safely. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him and those working to ensure justice is served. If anyone was around that area on those days, please come forward. Even the smallest detail could help bring some closure to his loved ones. Keeping Adam's family in my thoughts, hoping justice prevails.
