Does anyone have more information on the beach conditions the day Jonathan went missing? I read somewhere that there was a moderate risk of rip currents—could they really have been that bad? I know he was an experienced swimmer, and it just seems strange that he'd get caught up in something like that, especially since he'd swum there regularly. I've heard theories about freak waves or underwater currents, but aren't those extremely rare? Curious to hear what others think or if anyone local to Vero Beach has insights on the surf that day.

Hey everyone, I've been following Jonathan Michael Christy's case closely since I live not too far from Vero Beach. I’m curious if anyone has more insights about the surf conditions on the day he went missing. I know there was a moderate risk of rip currents, but can anyone else chime in on how the currents usually are this time of year on that part of the coast? Given that Jonathan was such an experienced swimmer, I wonder if environmental factors, more than usual, could have played a bigger role. It just seems strange that someone with his level of expertise in the water could disappear so suddenly. Any locals or regular beach-goers here who can share what they've noticed about the ocean conditions the past few weeks? It might help piece together some parts of this puzzling situation.
