Hey everyone,
I came across an interesting piece of info on Walter Chambers Jr.'s disappearance that caught my eye and I wanted to share it here. So, Chambers's car was found abandoned just a couple of weeks after he went missing, with the keys still in the ignition. What strikes me as really odd is the location where it was found. I mean, Texar Drive and Cortez Street doesn't sound like a spot you'd casually leave a car if it broke down, especially with the keys still in it. Does anyone familiar with Pensacola know if there might have been some significance to that specific area back in '96? Like, any possible places someone might have wanted to avoid being seen, or could it have been intended as a message of some kind? Just trying to piece together possible scenarios as to why someone might abandon a car there intentionally. Thoughts anyone?
Has anyone looked into the security footage around the bank where Walter Chambers Jr. made that withdrawal on July 7? I know it's been a long time, and the chances are slim, but if any footage still exists from neighboring businesses or even traffic cameras from back then, it could provide some clues about where he might have gone next or who he was with. It's baffling that he seemingly just vanished, especially after making a bank transaction. Even the smallest detail could potentially open up new leads for investigators. Maybe there was something more to that transaction? Would love to hear more insights or updates if anyone has dug into this angle!
