Does anyone find it odd that there are so many discrepancies around the dates Augustin Riviere Carriere was last seen? It's really puzzling to me. I came across reports that state he was last observed leaving his place on August 19, while others mention August 20 instead. And to add to the confusion, the police reportedly found him on August 20th, yet he somehow slipped away again. Given his early-stage dementia, this all must have made it so much harder to track his movements accurately. Does anyone familiar with missing person cases know how common it is to have such conflicting info? It seems like each piece of information would be crucial here. I hope more details eventually come to light.
Also, just throwing it out there—are there any updates about him possibly frequenting the Jai-Alai Casino before he went missing? Haven't seen much follow-up on that angle. Would love to hear your thoughts or any ideas you might have about this case!
Noticing a pattern here in how details don't seem to match up. One of the things that's really sticking out to me about Augustin Riviere Carriere's disappearance is that there’s various last-seen dates floating around. Can't help but wonder if this is causing confusion in the investigation. Between the discrepancies in the days and even the report of him being found once, then not again, it just seems like these inconsistencies might be leading to dead ends. Wondering if anyone has heard more about the bus sighting on Northwest 36th Street—like, did anyone ever come forward with more info from that bus trip? Seems like a key detail that could possibly help pinpoint his movements that day.
