Hey everyone, After following the case of Christopher J. Benedetto and Janette Piro, I've been really puzzled by the missing fishing gear situation. It's always struck me as odd that the anchor and several fishing rods from Benedetto’s boat were never found. Given Benedetto's love for fishing, it seems like he must have always been meticulous about his gear. Could the missing equipment mean more than just a hastily left scene? For instance, was it used as evidence of what happened at sea? Or could these items have been deliberately taken by Michael Koblan to cover his tracks? I wonder if they were ever traced or if anything related came up at pawn shops or in other boats around the area. It’s a stretch, but I feel like there's a missing puzzle piece here regarding why his gear vanished. Would love to know if any local sleuths have insights or theories!
