It's been so many years since Thomas Payton Andrews vanished, yet every time I read about the case, I can’t help but fixate on the dense wilderness of the Apalachicola National Forest. Having visited the forest myself, I can attest to just how overwhelming and challenging the terrain can be, even for someone who’s familiar with the area. It's easy to see how someone could quickly become disoriented. The sheer size of the forest is staggering and makes me wonder about the possibility of conducting more extensive searches with today’s technology—drones, infrared cameras, etc. Could we uncover clues that weren't previously visible? It’s a long shot, but given the circumstances, every potential lead should be explored. Thoughts?
