Hey everyone, I've been following Guma Aguiar's case for a while now, and something that's been sticking with me is the broken tie rod on the T.T. Zion. It was mentioned that this issue caused steering problems, which might have contributed to the boat's erratic movements before it washed ashore. I'm no boating expert, but I wonder how common it is for something like this to happen, especially when the tie rod is kind of a critical part for maneuvering. Could this have been a maintenance issue, or is it possible that the rough seas and high-speed travel that evening caused it to snap? If anyone here is familiar with boating mechanics, I'd really appreciate your insights! Every bit of information might help us piece together what really happened that night.
Hey all,
I've been following Guma Aguiar's case for a while now, and something that's been bugging me is that broken tie rod on his boat. It's strange how the boat had steering issues, which could definitely lead to some erratic behavior out on the water. Could it possibly have been tampered with or is it just a freak accident due to wear and tear? I mean, a millionaire like Aguiar would presumably have regular maintenance done on his equipment, right? Just feels odd that an issue like this would pop up out of nowhere, especially considering the weather conditions that night. Would love to hear what others think!
