It's so baffling that Song Im's case remains unsolved all these years later. Something that really stands out to me is how her husband, Alton, just up and re-enlisted shortly after she disappeared. I mean, he didn't even wait a week! And to go back to South Korea of all places? Seems beyond suspicious to me, given the timing and all their marital issues. Plus, the fact that he has a criminal history makes it hard not to look at him as a prime suspect, even if there were supposedly two people of interest. I'm curious if the friend who heard Song Im mention being followed by a Korean-speaking man ever came forward with more details. Any leads regarding this other suspect? I just can't shake the feeling that Alton knows more than he's letting on.

Does anyone else find it odd that Alton waited two days to report Song Im missing? I mean, if my spouse didn't come back home and wasn't reachable, I'd be freaking out and calling the police the same day. Plus, reenlisting in the military and heading back to South Korea right after she disappeared seems almost too coincidental, especially with the explosives charges looming over him later on. You'd think that with a criminal background like his, it would have raised more flags back then. It's just frustrating how some cases feel like they have so many obvious clues but never get resolved. Anyone else think the timing of his actions is suspicious?
