Aaron Timothy Henderson, 36, was found unconscious with a severe head injury in an alley in the Trinidad neighborhood of Northeast Washington, D.C. on April 18, 2012. Emergency services transported him to a hospital, where he later died. An autopsy determined blunt force trauma to the head as the cause of death and the death was ruled a homicide.
Also known to some as Peanut, Henderson’s killing prompted the Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Branch to investigate and the city offered a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. No public details about suspects or arrests have been released.
If anyone knew Aaron, saw activity in the 1500 block of Oates Street NE that night, or has information about this homicide, please share what is known with investigators.
