Has anyone else been digging into the discrepancy between Brian O'Shaughnessy's missing person case and the obituary? I noticed that the timeline matches, but there doesn't seem to be any public acknowledgment connecting these two events. It's puzzling that someone could go missing under such concerning circumstances and then supposedly pass away just a few months later, with no official statements or updates from the authorities.
Does anyone have any theories or further information on what might have happened during those months? Did he come back and it was kept under wraps, or is this a completely different individual? Maybe someone local to Adams County or Denver has more insight. It's unusual for there to be so little closure with cases like this.
Has anyone else found it odd that there's this obituary for a Brian O'Shaughnessy from Denver, listing him as having died in November 2011? The dates and age match perfectly with the Brian O'Shaughnessy who went missing from Adams County earlier that year. He was reported as "Endangered Missing," and then there’s zero public info tying the two together. Is it common for authorities to stay silent on potential identifications like this? I mean, if the obituary does belong to the same Brian who went missing, could this have been a case of a strategic non-disclosure, or is it something else entirely? Anyone have insights on how these things usually play out or why there might be such a discrepancy?
