Anyone else here think it's strange that we have so little info on Lawrence Olmstead's disappearance, especially given how long it’s been? One thing that really sticks out to me is the lack of info about what he was last seen wearing or how he might've been traveling. In many cases, these details are often the first things reported, yet we're missing them entirely here. Could it mean the investigation was stalled right from the start, or is there something else going on? Just a thought, but it makes me wonder if some crucial initial reports or leads were somehow lost or never properly documented. Something’s just not adding up. Would love to hear others' thoughts or insights.
Hey everyone,
I've been looking into the Lawrence Olmstead case and something caught my attention regarding the timeline. I grew up in Adams County and remember hearing about Lawrence going missing back in '98. It was a big deal in the local community, but what surprises me is how little progress seems to have been made.
Does anyone else find it odd that no details about what Lawrence was last seen wearing have ever been released? I know it's not a game-changer, but even a small detail like that could have jogged someone's memory or led to a sighting. It's frustrating thinking about how many little pieces of information might still be missing or overlooked.
Anyone else from the area remember more about how this was handled at the time or have any ideas on why these details were never shared? Maybe there are more gaps in the info released to the public than we realize.
Hoping for some insights,
