Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Juwan Felder case, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact it's had on his family and our Montgomery community. It got me pondering about the ongoing violence around McGehee Road and its effect on local residents. The fact that it happened near an apartment complex makes me worry about the safety and wellbeing of those living there. One thing that struck me was how deeply loved Felder was by his community. It’s so important for us to remember him not just as another statistic, but as a person with dreams, friends, and family who are left mourning. I wonder what measures the city could implement to not only address these crimes but also help the community heal and prevent future tragedies. Sending strength to Juwan's family and to all affected by violence. If anyone has insights or ideas on how we can collectively help each other and make our neighborhoods safer, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Stay safe out there.
