Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up Margaret Manchun Wang's case again. It's been on my mind lately, especially because there just seems to be a complete absence of information about her disappearance. One thing I've been thinking about is the role of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department. Given how little has been shared publicly, I wonder if they have any leads they're working on behind the scenes or if they're hoping for a tip from the public.
It baffles me how someone can just vanish without anyone having any clues about what happened or how it happened. If there’s anyone here with ties to the area or who might know people who were around back in 2013, maybe we could brainstorm how to generate more awareness? It's important to keep Margaret's case in the spotlight, even after all these years.
Would love to hear any thoughts or ideas on how we might push for more details or community involvement.
Has anyone gone down the rabbit hole of Margaret Manchun Wang's case and looked into any potential witnesses? I haven't seen much discussion about whether authorities ever interviewed neighbors or anyone in her community. Given that her disappearance was so under-the-radar, I wonder if anyone might have seen or heard something around July 19, 2013, but never came forward because they didn't realize it was relevant. There might be folks who didn't even know she was missing or overlooked something they thought was insignificant at the time. Any insight or fresh perspectives could potentially lead somewhere, especially in a case with so few public details. Just thinking out loud here; curious if anyone's heard anything more locally or has thoughts on stirring up a renewed search for tips.
