Louis Clements, a 48-year-old African-American/Black man, was killed in Washington, D.C., on April 4, 2013.
His killing is listed among a troubling cluster of unresolved homicides in the city that year. Authorities publicized a reward of up to $25,000 and appealed for anyone with information to come forward, but the case remains listed in cold and unsolved homicide databases with no identified suspect and no record of an arrest.
Louis’s name endures on those unresolved lists as detectives continued to seek the missing piece of information that might explain how and why his life was taken. If anyone knew Louis, saw something on April 4, 2013, or has information about his death, please come forward to the Metropolitan Police Department.
