I've always found the Efren Garcia Vasquez case puzzling. One thing that strikes me is the decision of his friends to let him leave on foot, especially at night. He was clearly comfortable with the group, as he spent time at their apartment, so why wouldn’t anyone offer to drive him or at least walk with him part of the way? Also, considering his car was left at the complex, what might have been the reason for leaving it behind? It makes me wonder if he really intended to come back shortly. His friends’ accounts would have been crucial, but it seems there wasn’t much clarity on what his plans were after leaving. I wonder if the police investigated the nature of his friendships for any leads or potential conflicts. Does anyone have insights into this aspect of the case?
