Hey everyone, I've been following Alan R. Stephan's disappearance, and something that's been bugging me is why the Tempe, Arizona Police Department is handling the investigation. It's pretty odd since he was last seen in Spreckels, California. I wonder if there's more to his ties with Tempe that we just don't know about yet. Could he have had plans to move or visit there? Maybe people in both locations have insight into his whereabouts on that day. If anyone has any other cases like this where two states’ jurisdictions were involved, I’d love to hear how that panned out or what led to that. Here's hoping new info comes to light soon.
Has anyone else found it odd that the investigation into Alan R. Stephan's disappearance has crossed state lines to involve the Tempe Police Department? Considering he was last seen in Spreckels, CA, it seems unusual that the investigation is centered in Arizona. Could there be an Arizona connection in his life that hasn’t been made public yet? Maybe friends or family out there? There’s hardly any info available, and this detail just seems unusual. Has anyone else looked into this or heard any theories on why this might be?
