Does anyone else find it strange how all the details about the cats were initially overlooked? Linda boarding her pets might seem like a minor detail, but it's pretty telling. People who know they're going away temporarily and plan to return don't just leave their animals indefinitely like that. It's almost as if she expected to come back soon but knew she'd be gone for a couple of weeks, maybe the duration of the initial "Connecticut job." But who sends postcards from France if they just went to Connecticut? Could Linda have been coerced or misled about where she was actually going? Maybe the cats were meant to be retrieved after the initial two weeks, and when nobody picked them up, it was a sign returning wasn't on the cards at all. It just seems like such a personal, yet overlooked part of this whole mystery.
