On September 11, 2013, 32-year-old Delonta Hendrix was killed in a quadruple shooting in the 1100 block of 1st Street NW in Northwest Washington, D.C. Officers responding to late-evening gunfire found Hendrix unconscious with apparent gunshot wounds; he was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead. Three other adult men sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries to limbs and lower bodies.
Investigators said the men may have been involved in a dice game when shots rang out. The Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department handled the case and appealed to the public for information.
Did anyone in the area know Delonta Hendrix, or have information about the shooting that hasn’t been shared with investigators?
