Hey everyone. I've been looking into Emilio Laureano Sandoval's disappearance and noticed that there seems to be a lack of details about the circumstances surrounding the case. It's strange that for someone missing for over two decades, we have so little to go on. The most recent LAPD updates don’t provide much insight, and I think this might be a reason why this case hasn't received as much attention as it should've. It got me wondering if there was any local news coverage back in '98 that maybe didn't make it online, or any known acquaintances who might’ve spoken out at the time. Has anyone here dug into old newspapers or archives that might offer some clues or context missing from the online records? Any tips on where to find that info would be appreciated!
Hey everyone,
I've been digging through old cases and stumbled upon Emilio Laureano Sandoval's from '98. What I'm really curious about is how missing persons cases from that era were documented, especially since it seems like they didn't have much to go off of for Emilio. Dental records not being available stands out to me. How common was it for missing person files to lack something like dental X-rays back then? It seems like such a crucial piece for identification, especially in older cases. If anyone's got insights into the procedures or challenges investigators faced in those days, I'd love to hear them! Trying to wrap my head around how these mysteries went unsolved for so long. Thanks!
